SESSION 1. Data management: challenges and opportunities from the perspective of Member State authorities and EU Institutions 

Representatives of different Member State authorities and/or EU Institutions will provide an overview of their experience with the adoption of data management practices addressing operational challenges in a complex regulatory environment.

SESSION 2. Data governance and compliance by design

This session will explore industry solutions – both organisational and technological – that can help public organisations establish robust data governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with complex regulatory requirements.

SESSION 3. Secure and scalable data architectures for the public sector

Industry experts will present secure, scalable and resilient data architectures tailored to public-sector constraints. The session will cover modern approaches to data storage, processing and access control, including hybrid and sovereign-cloud models.

 

DAY 2 • 10 September 2026 • 09:00 - 13:00 CET

SESSION 4. Data quality, interoperability and information sharing

This session will focus on solutions that improve data quality and enable interoperability across departments, agencies and jurisdictions. Industry presentations will highlight tools and standards that support harmonisation, metadata management and trusted data exchange.

SESSION 5. Data exploitation, analytics and AI readiness

The session will present industry solutions that help public organisations extract value from data in a responsible and controlled manner. The session will include presentations of privacy preserving technologies, as well as solutions focusing on data governance and preparation for AI.
