On 24 November 2025, eu-LISA inaugurated its new premises in Strasbourg — the ASPIRE Building, a modern seven-storey facility located in the heart of the European Quarter, close to the European Parliament and surrounded by key European institutions. The new building marks an important step in ensuring that the Agency has the space and working conditions needed to meet its

eu-LISA has recorded one of its strongest internship calls to date, receiving more than 1 000 applications for its 2025 intake. Following the selection process, 20 interns joined eu-LISA in October, taking up placements across the Agency’s sites in Tallinn, Strasbourg and Brussels. The increased interest reflects a growing awareness of eu-LISA’s work in managing the EU’s large-scale IT systems

The Management Board of eu-LISA met on 19–20 November 2025 in Copenhagen to review the Agency’s activities, assess progress across its operational portfolio and discuss priorities for the period ahead. The EES-ETIAS Advisory Group met on 6–7 November 2025 in Strasbourg and online – the first meeting since the Entry/Exit System (EES) entered into operation on 12 October 2025. The Advisory Group is composed of representatives from EU Member States, Associated Countries, the European Commission, Frontex and eu-LISA, and serves as a key coordination platform for operational, technical and governance
