Article 40(2) of Regulation (EU) No 2024/1358 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 14 May 2024 requires Member States to send to the Commission and eu-LISA a list of designated authorities accessing to, and rectifying or erasing of, data recorded in Eurodac for the purposes laid down in Article 1(1) points (a), (b), (c) and (j) of the same Regulation. The designated authorities shall specify the exact unit responsible for carrying out tasks related to the application of said Regulation. The present list is based on the input received from Member States by 20 March 2026.
