From 12 October 2025, the new Entry/Exit System will be gradually introduced at Schengen borders.
It will replace manual passport stamping with fast and secure electronic checks, recording travellers’ entry and exit automatically.
This modern system will make journeys smoother while strengthening the protection of Europe’s borders.
