Yesterday, we witnessed a horrific terrorist
attack on innocent holidaymakers in Barcelona, Spain. Once again, we are
reminded of the atrocities of terrorism that Europe faces today.
The European Agency for the operational
management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice
(eu-LISA) denounces and condemns all forms of terrorism and vows to support and
cooperate with all Member States and partners to strengthen common actions in
the fight against barbaric acts such as those recently seen.
eu-LISA conveys its
sincerest condolences to the families and friends of the victims and hopes for
a speedy recovery of those injured.
