Eurojust and eu-LISA have reaffirmed their commitment to working together to enhance judicial cooperation across the European Union. By building on years of collaboration and mutual support, the two Agencies aim to deliver smarter, more secure digital solutions for cross-border justice.
The renewed Cooperation Plan, signed in April by Eurojust President Mr Michael Schmid and eu-LISA Executive Director ad interim Ms Marili Männik, reflects a shared vision for the future of EU justice. It marks another important step in a long-standing partnership, rooted in trust, innovation, and a joint responsibility to serve justice practitioners and citizens alike.
Through this collaboration, Eurojust and eu-LISA will combine their expertise to support the operational needs of judicial authorities, contribute to the EU’s digital justice agenda, and ensure robust and secure information systems underpinning criminal and civil justice cooperation.
Together, the Agencies will continue shaping practical, forward-looking solutions—whether by advancing key platforms such as the Joint Investigation Teams collaboration platform, contributing to the interoperability of EU systems, or supporting innovation, training and cyber security.
