Throughout November 2021, the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA) hosted the 14th edition of the Industry Roundtable, Artificial Intelligence in Large-scale IT Systems Opportunities and Challenges. Organised in cooperation with the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the event took place in a novel format, over four consecutive weeks, one afternoon per week 4/11 (AI for advanced data analytics and forecasting to support business processes in the area of internal security), 11/11 (Privacy-preserving approaches and technologies for data analytics and AI), 18/11 (AI in IT operations - AIOps), 25/11 (AI in biometric recognition technologies). The event brought together participants from 39 countries, with an average of 310 per session.
