FRA and eu-LISA sign cooperation plan

On 12 March 2024, FRA, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and eu-LISA, the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice, signed an agreement to strengthen their cooperation. A cooperation plan for the period 2024-2026 was signed in Vienna by FRA Director Sirpa Rautio and eu-LISA Executive Director Agnès Diallo

The two EDs were happy to share insights on the importance of a continuous fruitful cooperation between the Agencies. As the work of the two Agencies are being increasingly interlinked due to the evolutions in technological developments impacting their mandates, exchanging expertise and know-how is a crucial component of this cooperation, that will further support both Agencies in their activities. In addition, FRA and eu-LISA will continue to cooperate in other areas of mutual interest, such as training to Member States, data protection, communication and events and, as well as policy coordination and practices.
