eu-LISA prepares to meet with the LIBE Committee

On 3 May 2016 the European agency for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice (eu-LISA) will attend a meeting with the LIBE Committee of the European Parliament.

The aim of the event is to present the current state-of-play of the three large-scale IT systems (Eurodac, SIS II and VIS) managed by eu-LISA as well as the future challenges, objectives and evolution of the systems. In addition, the use, functioning and capacity of the systems will be highlighted as well as the priorities and major activities of the Agency in the Annual Work Programme 2016, including activities related to Smart Borders and other topics supporting the forthcoming legislative initiatives.

We hope that this event will become a tradition of sharing information, feedback and ideas with MEPs.
