On 21 February 2023, the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security, and Justice (eu-LISA), received a Certificate of Excellence from the
City of Tallinn, Estonia, and the
Estonian Convention Bureau, after winning the
Conference Award Prize for 2022.
The award recognises eu-LISA's 10th anniversary dedicated events, namely our flagship
eu-LISA Annual Conference
2022 and the
eu-LISA Industry Roundtable October 2022. Both events brought together close to 400 participants each, including representatives from EU Member State authorities, EU institutions and industry, providing a forum for key eu-LISA stakeholders to exchange views on the ongoing and future digital transformation of the EU's border and migration management systems.
This recognition reaffirms the Agency's commitment to promoting innovation and new technologies that can support the EU Institutions' and Member States' efforts in making Europe safer.
