Our journey started in 2022, and we are committed to enhancing our eco-friendly strategy to minimise both direct and indirect environmental risks resulting from our operations.
Actively pursuing the objective to obtain EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) registration by the end of 2024, eu-LISA remains firmly committed to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in its environmental performance.
The overall objective of the Agency is to decrease its carbon footprint and production of waste, as well as to minimise excessive consumption of energy, water and paper. eu-LISA will encourage the use of renewable energy sources and strive to increase the energy efficiency of its buildings, in accordance with relevant Union legislation.
