eu-LISA strengthens cooperation with JHA Counsellors in Brussels

eu-LISA will  hold  its  first  meeting  with  the  Justice  and Home  Affairs  (JHA)  Counsellors  operating  at  the  EU  Permanent  Representations  and Missions  in  Brussels.

eu-LISA  seeks  to  establish  strong  working  relations   and  intensify cooperation with JHA  Counsellors through  regular  exchange  of  views on the contribution of the Agency to the implementation of policies in the area of freedom, security and justice.

“I hope that this event will grow into an annual tradition  of  sharing  information, feedback and new ideas with our  cooperation partners. Together we will define the best ways to efficiently contribute to meeting the needs of Member States and be successful in the areas of our common responsibility,” emphasised eu-LISA Executive Director Mr Krum GARKOV.

The meeting will take place on Friday, 4 July 2014 in the eu-LISA Liaison Office in Brussels.
At  the  first  meeting  the  Agency  will  present  an  overview  of  the  start  and achievements  of  eu-LISA  in  its  first  year  and  inform  the  Counsellors  of  the  short-and  long-term  priorities  and strategies of the Agency.

The  meeting  will  be  a  two-way  forum  allowing  participants  to  actively  contribute  to  the discussion and be part of a dialogue with representatives of eu-LISA
